In A Nutshell – Spring 2017

Freedom Through Fun is now in its fourteenth year and continues to provide fun, imagination, learning and laughter.

With a wealth of experience in both teaching and disability team social work, Chris North works inclusively with all ages and can tailor-make a Workshop to meet your Group’s particular needs.

Music is all around us and it’s a wonderful means of communication and a way to work and have fun in a group. With over 80 musical instruments including a Soundbeam, synthesisers, keyboard, guitars, djembe drums, percussion and  our voices, Life Music Workshops provide opportunities to enjoy things  together and explore sound and rhythm, paint sound pictures to create seascapes, arctic circles, Star Wars  or wherever the group chooses to go! Totally inclusive and accessible to meet all needs and ages.

Chris’s Poetry Workshops offer opportunities for participants to experience poetry, not just read it. Using a variety of resources including costumes, musical instruments, fabrics, a Soundbeam and poems either written on the day or previously written, this is a session of fun Lifting Poetry Off the Page!

This session can be tailor-made to best suit the needs of your group. It can include very basic circus skills, a Magic Show, create your own comedy characters using costumes and fabrics, drama based routines and games, puppetry, big bubble makers, music and dance.

A kaleidoscope of fun for all ages !

Chris can provide a Workshop including a mixture of any of the above and so if you’d like to talk through with him your requirements, contact him at: or 01243 774392
